If you were thinking about picking up an iPad for the holidays, you may want to hold off a bit.

Last month, we heard rumors that a new iPad might be coming out BEFORE iPad 3, which would be thinner than the previous version, and it would feature a longer battery life.
Now, it seems like the iPad 2s might NOT be happening, because we're hearing that iPad 3 could be released THIS FEBRUARY!

According to a new report, it MIGHT come out on Feb. 23, which is a day before the late Steve Jobs' 57th birthday.

We still haven't heard TOO many details about iPad 3's features, but it will reportedly have a "Retina Display," with a screen that has "twice the resolution of current iPads." Wow!
Oh, and as we heard before, the new iPad might feature 4G, which would be A-MAZING!

Let's just hope they don't charge TOO MUCH for this new iPad. After throwing down at least $500 for iPad 2, we can't imagine current iPad owners will be overly enthusiastic to spend $700 for a new one!
