We ALL know Jessica Simpson is knocked up. It's as clear as the bump on her belly!
Still, the singer / reality star has yet to announce pregnancy -- and now we know why.

Jessica wants cash, and lots of it! Sources (including her daddy Joe Simpson) are saying Jess and her fiance , NFL star Eric Johnson, wouldn't confirm anything to anyone until they had a magazine deal -- for a fee of up to a half-million dollars. WFT??

The deal would cover her big pregnancy 'reveal' (gasp!) and have the exclusive first photos of the newborn bundle of cash joy.

So, until someone is ready to front the cash, Jess is gonna be avoiding cameras, doctor's offices, and any other public place.

We suggest she invests in a Snuggy. It may not be the most fashionable choice, but it'll hid her bump and will be the prefect accessory for all that not leaving the house she'll be doing!
