This is why you must never forget to feed your dog!!
Honey Bun has spent most his short life working with his owner at John Ross jewelers. For years he was the perfect sells associate, pup got a craving for something sparkly.
"A customer came in and I jumped up out of my chair and came out here to wait on him. And I left the chair where you could jump up on my chair and jump up on my desk,"Recalls store and dog owner Chuck Roberts. What was on the desk? Just some pens, dog treats, and — oh yeah — four packs of loose diamonds, about a carat each to set in diamond earrings!!
Of course when Chuck came back he saw everything, excluding the diamonds.
The luckily the gems… um… turned up the next afternoon. No harm no foul.
We just hope Chuck tells whoever buys the carats what they've been through. LOL.
