Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberr is donating $100 million to the public school system

Okay, so the schoolteachers themselves aren't getting the ENTIRE $100M, but some of the money will go directly into their pockets!
It was almost exactly a year ago that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced he'd be donating $100 million to the public school system in Newark, NJ.
Now, plans for the sizable donation have been announced, and they include a $600,000 program that "provides $10,000 grants to teachers, or groups of teachers, who come up with innovative classroom programs."
Portions of the donation will also go towards the following:

- Opening new schools
- Extending school days
- Recruiting teachers
SO great! And given the fact that the foundation managing Zuckerberg's gift is working on matching his $100M donation, things are REALLY looking up for Newark's school system!
Thanks again for making such a positive difference, Mark! This is truly inspiring!
